Joseph Morris & Co - About 20 mins walk along a bridleway (bridge 40) from the Leicester Line of the Grand Union close to the junction with the Welford Arm. Top quality butcher with sensible prices (as good if not better than supermarkets), excellent quality meat, almost entirely local produce and still with their own small abattoir. The amount of air miles in each leg of lamb? Zero.
